It looks like everyone is in a twitter over the iPhone 4. I’m not talking about the cool screen, or the camera, or the ability to record video or even the speed and beauty of the device. I’m talking about the fact that the thing fails at being a phone.

Apparently the iPhone isn’t very successful at being a phone at all. This kind of thing makes me feel old fashioned but when did phones stop being phones? They do everything in the world except make phone calls.

I remember going into AT&T 6 years ago and getting a Siemens phone. I told the sales guy that I didnt want to send picture messages, I didnt want to know my location, or anything else. All I wanted was to be able to make phone calls
